In the study released in November of 2012, ASI found that:
- 1/3 of U.S. consumers say they are more likely to do business with an advertiser after getting their logoed product.
- 66% of U.S. respondents give away unwanted items to someone else, further extending the products longevity.
- On average, respondents kept a logoed product 5.8 months (Jackets were the highest at 7.3 months, writing instruments the lowest at 5.1 months)
- Cost per impression of a promotional product averaged $.006 compared to $.018 for prime time TV and national magazines and $.007 for newspaper.
